Calling all photoshop skilled folks

This is not Redskins related but I know some of you are very talented and are willing to help out. I think it's a fairly simple request (I know, if it's simple why can't you do it?) but I could be wrong. I've tried a few to times and I know many of you can make it look professional. My hockey team is the Knights and we don't have a logo patch on our jersey's and I'd like to, with your help, develop one.

I'd like to add a hockey aspect to the logo and was thinking where the eye whole (for lack of better term) is to have a hockey stick shape instead what's currently in it's place.

I'm open to anything and would greatly appreciate anyone's skills.
