    Default The Main Reason

In my opinion, I think the main reason this team is failing is that EJ's Princeton offense does not match the strengths of his players. The only starter who may actually be suited for the princeton offense is kwame brown. The main problem is Arenas. Although he can put up the points, he is a horrible point guard. He has an assist-to-turnover ratio of 1.12 and assists per game of 5.1. that is sad. In fact his 4.55 TO per game is 2nd highest in the NBA and he is #1 in TO per 48 mins. however these stats are due to the princeton offense.

in golden state in the 02-03 season, arenas averaged 6.3 assists per game and a lesser 3.54 TO per game with an assist to turnover ratio of 1.78. These stats again show that arenas is not a true point guard. he is not big enuff (6-3) to play SG on a consistent basis. so either he must go or eddie jordan's princeton offense must go. i see arenas going.

the wizards will continue to suck in the princeton offense unless they trade arenas for a true PG. one that may be available is stephon marbury. a straight up deal of arenas for marbury may be what the knicks accept.

the inefficiency of stackhouse and jeffries really anger me. both of these clowns must go. I would offer jeffries and stackhouse in the expansion draft. jeffries will never be good. he is overrated and was really overrated in college. hayes may be the future at SF, but I would rather bring in a veteran that fits with the princeton offense to compete with him.

Last of all, Haywood would be better suited to be a backup although he is somehow better than some centers in the nba. i think that the wiz should either try to trade stack for eddy curry or they should draft okafor.

and also etan must be resigned. he may be one of the best backup big men in the league. he is our toughest SOB.

o yea. tyson chandler may be easier to acquire to manage the paint at center. he was having a really great season in the first month. i do not know what happened but he is one hell of a rebounder. however curry is proving himself to be one of the best big men in the east.

Okafor will be a PF, and a short one at that. He really needs to flesh out his low-post game, because it is lacking compared to that of a NBA PF.

He isn't the best option for us unless the Wizards envision moving Kwame to center, which I doubt will happen.

i agree that stack must go no matter what the cost.

however, i would say we give jeffries one more year. he is still young, and most of his rookie season was a washout becuse of the knee...
