I was going to say Christian Bale, but I think he is a bit too lifeless for Bond. Bond has to have that ego and charm. McGreggor has it, but does come off a bit soft at times. However, given the chance, he'd more than likely nail it. Fiennes is a good call as is Jackman, but I am going with Ewan on this one.

Crowe was who I was thinking of. Bring back the Connery type bond and get rid of these wussies they have been using. Give the character a little edge.

my first thought was also Clive Owen-- he'd be a natural for the Bond role.

Giving this a little more thought, Eric Bana would be the perfect Bond. I change my vote...

The James Bond series has become just another action movie series with an explosion every 5 minutes and tons of gags and tag lines. When Connery was Bond, it seemed a bit more went into each series, and although there was some cheesy dialogue, it wasn't overbearing.

Maybe they should just kill the series now instead of finding a new Bond.

Wow! Orlando Bloom? Pirates of the Carribbean? I would've thought Hugh Jackman was the next James Bond for sure. He seemed like the best choice to me.

    College Days?

What was that Richard Greco movie where he was a high school spy?

I read that Roger Moore's son also wants the job.
