-Mauser K98: made in 1941 at a plant in Austria, original serials and wehrmacht stamps.

-1903A3 Springfield: made in 1944 by Remington

-91/30 Mosin Nagant: made in 1942 at the Izhevsk arsenal in Russia (the same one the AK47 was degisned)

-M-1 Garand: made in 1942 by the Springfield Armory of course

Does anybody see a pattern here?

I also own an SKS made at the Tula plant in 1952 but that is a tad less unique and interesting

My dad is going to buy an M-14 soon...he hadn't really shot much since his Marine days, I took him to the range this weekend and he loved it

It's not about being "cool", Who Del. Believe me, if you ever met me you'd find me to be about the least "cool" person you've ever heard of, never mind met. It's about being Right, and being willing to do whatever is necessary to defend that. No matter who the adversary is.

None yet. Dad's the one with the weapons cache. Will be getting one down the road, (more than likely), for taking with me on hikes.

So what do y'all think about the .380 as a concealed carry weapon? I think it is a Kel-Tec if I remember correctly. My buddy wants $100 for it. Would y'all do it?

I took mine hiking with me out in Arizona, because mountain lions were a big problem where we were at.

I don't think my .45 would do a whole lot to a bear though.

haha...I don't really mind, just as long as it works when I need it. i know you're with me on that one......

besides, my friend who got me hooked has a sig so i get to shoot his all the time.

my h&k is all metal and that's my favorite to shoot of the bunch. and my xd is cool too cuz it's small, lightweight, and with a grip safety it's perfect for ccw.

It probably wouldn't. That's why I'm probably going to have to look at something bigger.
