    McVeigh

First appeal denied!!!! I'm sure there is nothing in those 4000 odd pages that changes the fact that this "man"(I use that term very loosely) murdered innocent people. I'm glad there is a judge who realizes that it doesn't matter if there was someone else who helped him. The guy deserves the chair!!

    I agree.

Always have felt that capital punishment is a case-by-case call ... and for me at least this one isn't even close.

They say it's pretty hot where you're headed, Mr. McVeigh.

May God have mercy on his soul.
What a way to express your feelings in an open and free society. What makes it so dispicable is his lack of remorse, his attitude, that some kind of "paper" snaffu was going to get him off the hook.

He is a waste to society, the sense of duty and the countries legal resources. Yet it is always helpful to know how we could at least find a way to reach people like this, before they take matters down the wrong road. I guess the larger the nation, the larger the headache. His romance with "wanting to be" as a [part of something big] or what he must have conceived as "manly" and "dutiful" among some "strange hyped - get the government - call"; shows a huge disappointment of going unnoticed in the free world.

    Dennis Miller said it best.

To paraphrase: 'with all the missing gevernment papers that have been turned over to McVeigh, there is only one more that they have to give that f**ker - his death certificate!'

Although my opinion of the death penalty is probably far-right and not shared by many in this age of so-called tolerance, I'll share it anyway.

I think that groups that have their own agendas and mis-speak them for public consumption, have created an atmosphere of "anything goes" in this country. Groups like ACLU and NACCP, bleeding hearts all, will eventully rule and ruin this country, if not stopped.

If we were to forego all the political-correctness crap, and get back to a non-tolerant philosophy for criminals, we might still have a future.

I'd mandate capital punishment for all acts of violent, premeditated murder and rape. Period. No exceptions.

I'd also not only provide live coverage of the executions, I'd try to market the coverage to the widest possible audience, say half-time on Monday Night Football. Watch the ratings soar! I'd also go back to some fashion of graphic presentation in this matter. Lethal injection is too humane; hanging would be mandated.

This country would go from a anything-goes nation, with ever-esculating prision costs, to one that has a relative major-crime-free status VERY QUICKLY.

It is high time this country stops supporting these criminals and paying for their life-long incarcerations.
