Got mine at midnight madness, but will be traveling from DE to Ohio today so I won't get a chance to play until later this evening. The box says you can establish fighting clans. Maybe we should start an extrmeskins clan. If anyone starts it save a spot for THE_2K_ASASSIN.

Went to midnight madness last night at Fair Oaks Mall and got my limited edition from EBGames. Played for a couple hours and woke up early this morning to head to Target to pick up my friends regular edition (I preordered as a bday gift). First of all, I gota say that I feel a bit jipped being 18th in line at EB and then watching people just walk into FYE across the hall buying them and then walking out with no preorders or lines. Oh, for those of you who don't have one yet, try and see if your local Target has any. They are giving away a free strategy guide with the game. The guide itself is worth $17. So you may want to check that out first.

Played the game for 2 hours last night when I got home...SIIIILLLLYYY. I got a tourney going tonight with a bunch of friends. Gonna have at least 8 peeps playing, looking to get more maybe, I'll let you know how it goes. Oh, btw, I spoke to a few EBGames, they'll be getting more in on Wednesday or Thursday if you can't get any right now.

I picked it up last night as well over at Tysons. I didn't get to bed until 5. I'm beat as hell today. I wonder how many people across the country were playing that game at 2-4Am last night?

I picked it up this morning, loving it so far. The only thing that I don't like is how multiplayer is set up, hopefully bungie will tweak that...

I was playing last night. Finally went to bed at 3am. This game is insane. My brother watched my the whole time and was mesmorized.

Unfortunately for me, Everquest 2 also came out today. Now I have to decide what game I want to play, ugh.

Anyways, anyone who has not played this game yet needs too, it's one of the year's best.

Oh dude, you have to decide between the two most addictive games I have ever played. Hahaha, fortunately, beating Halo 2 will be a breeze compared to getting into the higher levels of EQ2. I remember the original when it came out, I truely believed in the name EverCrack. I lived and breathed that damn game. Good luck, both very good games to get addicted to, I hope you don't have a girlfriend, cause if you do, you won't pretty soon...

I just finished playing this game for the night. I had to drag myself away from it. This game is incredible. I've spent the last 5 hours on it. Halo 2 is basically the original X 3. I love it, well worth the wait.

Have been playing Halo 2 for about 10 hours the past day. That's all I've been doing. Eat, drink, pee, play, repeat in an hour. Overall I'd give Halo a 9.8.

The 2 tenths of a point I took off:
1) They took away the fantastic frag-grenades from Halo 1 and replaced them with more of a concussive explosion rather than a firey one. Definetly doesn't look OR sound as good. If the frag grenade from halo 1 is a 10, then the frag from Halo 2 is a 7. Also, the needler's explosion is weak and dusty...not the huge pink explosion that they had in Halo 1. What the heck?

2) The ammo. Where's the ammo? 600 rounds for the machine gun in Halo 1, and now only 140? The amount of human ammo you can carry was cut by more than half on every weapon. Totally sucks because you have to use Covenant weapons on a regular basis. They basically made more badass weapons, with a crappy ammo supply.

Besides that, the game is insane. The sub-machine gun is going to take over as my favorite weapon ever in a FPS. Thing is just fantastic, especially when dual wielding it. Love the pistol, fires so much faster then the old one - and you can't cheat by zooming with it anymore.

The assault rifle is very useful, but it runs out of ammo incredibly (stupidly) quickly. The three-shot-burst is sweet, I just wish the clips were bigger and you could carry at least 200 more bullets.

Wonder why they downgraded the ammo supplies. That's what made the first Halo so sweet!!! People loved the human weapons and hated when they had to pick up a plasma pistol or what have you.

Dual weilding is just too fun for words. And I love popping heads with the pistol. Can't express that enough, way to go Bungie - for taking away the pistol's zoom. Ballsy move that worked in my book. That thing fires incredibly fast, much faster than the pistol in Halo 1.

I've made the decision to go out and get Xbox Live after I beat the campaign mode on Legendary. I'll get back to this thread to pick up on some usernames. The Washington 'Skin Clan.
