    Default Halo 2 Help

I ended up keeping the game since nothing else is coming out until Dec 6 (KOTOR 2) and It's better the more I've played it.

Anyway, I just got to the part where I'm playing as the Arbiter alien guy. Can anyone explain what's going on? I didn't play the first Halo so I'm a little lost story wise. Is this Arbiter guy a good guy or bad guy?

    Thanks

Also, is there an extremeskins clan?

from what i can understand that guy is a traitor amongst the Elite's, now he's sent on a suicide mission. As for the clan, dunno but i'll join if there is

He's an enemy of the humans. He's one of the few, if not only, Elites (the bigger, stronger Covenant aliens) to survive the first HALO (which was destroyed by Master Chief in HALO 1, obviously). The 3 Covenant prophets and the Council, at the beginning of the game, condemn the Elite, but then decide to use him for a "suicide mission" to kill a heretic (some other Elite who is gathering an army of aliens to break away from the prophets). That's where you are, when they make him the Arbiter. So technically he's a bad guy, although you'll only be fighting other aliens in that level. You play as him again later in the game.
