    Default Christmas lights

Christmas lights, is anyone there in the process of setting up Christmas lights, like the type that you hang from your gutters call icicles. I spent most of the weekend setting up these lights, it sucks. I finally had to climb the roof to get them to the highest peak, I almost went tumbling down about 30 feet on a couple of occasions. I finally finished right after dusk and turn the lights on and showed my wife who said the lights did not look as good as the neighbors.

Im like Griswald. Every year I put up a few more strands. This year I wrapped every tree I have in the front yeard with lights.

For you day after X-Mas shoppers, Target always sells the lights for about .50 a box. I think Im up to about 75 boxes of lights.

Been there, done that! Since this is our first xmas with our new son, my wife had my ***** out there on Fri after Thanksgiving. The icicles get all curled up and don't look like the pictures...anyway hours of straighting them out I was done. We take my son out there after risking my life on the roof and ...he could care less, he wanted to go inside.

I talked my wife out of doing the lights on the gutters this year.
She decided to go a totally different route, which does not require me getting on any ladders or roofs.
I used to eat a lot of natural foods until I learned that most people die
    of natural causes.

I asked my 12 yr old son to come out and hold the ladder as I went up the roof when I turned around he was already inside.

We have those icicle lights only on the section above our front porch. As for the rest of the lights, we put up lights Christmas 01 when we moved in and never took them down. THe only reason they were replaced is because when I got lazy and tried trimming the bush around them, i cut them in like 10 different places.

Speaking of Xmas lights, where's a good place to take the lil lady to see lights? We used to go to this house in Lothian off of 258 in Anne Arundel county, but I think they stopped doing lights.
