Betts had a good game, and I'm glad he's going to be back with us. I really think he should be given more touches next year, especially by the goaline, but lets be real.

As you can tell from my signature i am a portis fan, however, i am starting to wonder if at least that during certain parts of the game we should rotate the two. Actually i thought portis would have had a big game today...it seemed like the holes would close faster for betts than portis. i still believe both backs need to play within the team concept and if that means portis' stats are lowered than so be it

Whatever, Portis and Betts have different styles, we just need to mix it up with them and use their ablilties to our advantage.

We have to remember that we played the 30th ranked run D today. Betts is a solid runner, but he should not be the starter. I would like to see him get more carries next year.

Seriously, Betts was averaging like 3.5 YPC until the Vikings quit in the 4th quarter and we began to gash them. This game didn't show me anything that Betts should play before Portis.
