    Default kudos to Garnell Wilds

He looked good in camp this summer and played solid for a rook today. If he had a little more speed he could be a #2 corner hopefully he will stick around and devlop into a nickle back

I wouldn't stick him at #2 right away. I wouldn't mind having him in nickel situations..

I just didn't see him stand out that much like everyone else is talking about. Besides the announcers talking about him that's all I really heard of him. I saw him quite a bit, but I didn't see the play that everyone is talking about. I'm not a hater, I'm just trying to get an idea what everyone saw that maybe I didn't. Hey, more power to us if we can develop a guy off our practice squad to give us valuable minutes.

I saw Wilds with a couple of nice hits but to me the one play that stood out was a missed tackle on 3 and long. He had a chance to stop the WR but didn't wrap up.

Personally, I was a lot more impressed with how Walt Harris played. Played great against the run and was never out of position on passing plays.
Pearlman writes that Michael Irvin, incensed that tackle Everett McIver, in mid-haircut, would not leave a barber chair at training camp in 1998 so Irvin could get his haircut first, stabbed McIver in the neck. McIver was rushed to the hospital and survived, but not without losing a lot of blood. Irvin's silence on the charge has been deafening. I asked a Cowboy who played on that team if the story was true. "Absolutely,'' the Cowboy said. "I'm surprised it was kept quiet over the years.''

See, it was NOT about the red socks........it was about the dreads!

I had a conversation with G Wild last weekend in Dallas. He is now my next favorite Skin.

^^ i agree , difference there tho is walt harris is a 9 year vet wilds is a guy who was on the practice squad , i agree he didnt explode into a ty law or anything but he was solid and that 3rd down tackle where he didnt wrap up stands out , but i chalk it up to experience ..taylor learned so will wilds , not a replacment for smoot but a Nickel back maybe
