    Music.

I load up my MP3 player with my favorite tunes and hit the gym. Music always keeps me motivated.
    Another post down the drain...

That and getting a good grade and looking foward to the smile on a certain guys face.
TOWARD THE END OF THE 1936 SEASON I BEGAN TO REALIZE
the seriousness of the situation. Don't let anyone tell
you that owning a pro-football team is the hobby of playboys.
It's a gruelling, tough test from beginning to end, no matter
what position you play, even if it is that of owner sitting
    in an upper box

    Taking care of my family.
Sounds cheesy, but without them, I'd be a lazy alcoholic.

Picture how you are going to feel after you get done whatever it is you are feeling too lazy to do. Keep that feeling and visualize your happiness when you need a boost.

Another thing you might try is clearing your mind of all the "Oh man I just don't feel like doing that" crap and just put one foot in front of the other. Don't think, just take that first action, and momentum will start building.

Most here seem to need extrinsic motivation. My motivation is totally intrinsic.

That has always been my number one motivationl, ever since we moved to the US my mom sacrificed her future so we can have a chance at a better one than we could have had. I can't let her down.

I can totally relate to that. My mom died when I was 16, so while I push myself to live up to (what I think are) her expectations, I never will because I can't hear her say "I'm proud of you". So I just keep pushing myself harder.

If you ask him, I sure he would be happy to tell. Pretty sure that running up large liquor bills contributes to life sucking. It definitely doesn't make life better, contrary to what some may believe.
