The No. 2 and No. 3 starters in the rotation have been switched, with Daniel Cabrera starting the second game on April 6 and left-hander Erik Bedard pitching the following night.
Cabrera wasn't told of his placement in the rotation until after Monday's game.

I like this move. Although D-Cab is a little greener than Bedard. He's got a mean streak going to start this season.
It makes the pitching matchups a little different. With the two opening day starters for the O's and A's being soft tossers or 'second pitch' pitchers ( Lopez' slurve and Zito's hook), and game two with fireballers in Cabrera and Harden.
