Yeah, I hope the two get a lot bigger games eventually. There's still a lot of potential to be unlocked with them.

Javale Mcgee is going to be a stud player by the end of this season.

See, when we play as a team, we can beat anyone. Try to play 1 on 5 offense and we fail. Play as a team and the Wiz win 50.

That's misleading, you make it sound like it took 2 spectacular performances to pull out a nailbiter. When in reality, we blew the doors off the hinges. It was never close. Even if Arenas/Blache shot worse, we'd still have been leading by double digits...unless they shot A LOT worse.

And what Miller is doing is amazing. The little things. He's got 2 steals in every game this season. His rebounding totals are 8, 10, and 11. That is giant, cause our bigs take up enough space that the effort of our bigs and their bigs battling for position will create rebounding chances for others. And Miller is taking that. |

One thing Blatche hasn't really done much of has been rebounding. It will be interesting to see what happens when Jamison comes back. I wonder how dominate we can be with him and Miller on the floor at the same time.
It's great to see that we have depth. I wasn't a big fan at first with trading our draft pick, but it has been paying dividends. Maybe there was no one out there that will really develop and make an impact like we needed. I still would have liked to seen DeJuan Blair in the 2nd round, but oh well, Blatche has been stepping up. |

I think Blatche's emergence as a force on this team will likely extend the period of time Jamison sits (due to the lack of urgency to get back...let that shoulder heal all the way) Once Jamison gets back, Blatche should still get 30 minutes a game. You have to remember that Jamison is on the wrong side of 30, though he is still a good player, monitoring his minutes will prolong his career. The trade was excellent...I loved it from the start. Not only because I think Foye is a star in the making, very versatile, and the perfect Guard to spell Gil.....but both of these players have expiring contracts (Foye will be restricted) and Miller will be unrestricted....so they could be used in a sign and trade latter down the line. I don't really want to get rid of either of these guys, but it would be tempting to investigate a Miller-Foye sign and trade for Chris Bosh at the end of the year. As for Dejuan Blair....I was so excited that he was still available in the 2nd round.....each pick (before the wizards) I start cheering and jumping up and down when he wasn't picked....I was SO PISSED when we drafted that washed up Super Middle Weight!!!! Dejuan Blair would have been the missing piece to this team that we still lack....hard nose rebounding defender in the paint. |

![]() Whatever, I still like the team we have and think we can compete. Looking forward to the Cavs game in 5 hours(my day consists of waiting for sports games, having no job is booooring). I think the NBA package preview is up so I will be going to the sports bar for that.

He's still a pretty good player, but he's overrated, and will be overpaid. With the salary cap shrinking, I don't think we'd want him. I'd rather grow Blache as our PF of the future while Jamison winds down. |
