Apparently the city is saying that Microsoft people will account for about 42% of the bridge traffic, while Microsoft is putting down a little under 50% of the cost...

On the other hand, of course, there are people who are saying that federal help was not necessary because without it Microsoft would simply build that same bridge by itself.

After looking up a little bit more about it, there also seem to be some legitimate reasons for it. (A former employee claims that traffic between the campuses clogs up a bunch of nearby neighborhood roads, for one, and I don't see any reason to not believe him.)

Anger rescinded.
