Redskins Chief Zee Donation Thread

By no means is the site 'soliciting' donations from anyone, but a number of members have asked that we sticky a 'Help Chief Zee' thread, and thats what we'll do. For those unfamiliar with Zema Williams or whats going on with him:

http://www.washingtontimes.com/natio...4644-6238r.htm

For those interested in helping out one of the living icons of Redskin's fandom, fellow members Huly and Gallantfox have organized an effort to raise funds for Chief Zee. If you desire you may donate funds to Chief Zee via Huly's paypal account christina.lopez at dcaa.mil

Anyone wishing to send a get well card or best wishes can reach the Chief at:

Chief Z
PO Box 355
Oxon Hill MD 20750-0355

Again, just reiterating, extremeskins wishes the Chief the best of luck and better health in the days to come. Whether or not any member elects to contribute to this effort is up to that member. We neither encourage nor discourage you.

Is paypal the only way to donate funds? I would prefer the mail.

Now that the Redskins organization knows about the "Chief's" plight, I wonder if they will contribute monetarily in any way ?

Agree 100%

I like that the fans are sticking up but lets be honest this is not our responsibility the Redskins should be the ones making the effort not us. If applaud us for being the best fans then prove it by helping out someone that is legendary in Redskin history.

ES is a great family but there is only so much we can do.

I am the one selling the 3 kings t-shirts in the classified section. Many of you know that I have been donating one dollar of every shirt to the redskins charitable foundation however in light of this news about our beloved cheif zee , the pa redskins fan club has decided to give 3 dollars from each shirt sold directly to cheif zee starting today. Just so everyone knows we ARE NOT making any profit on these shirts. I have grown up knowing the chief and seeing him at the games. My family is not well off enough to just donate a large sum of money there for we thought switching gears with the proceeds of our t-shirt sales could help pay for some of the chiefs medical bills. We hope to see him at games this year and wish him the best of luck with everything

It would be a classy move on the Skins part to step up and help the Chief. I would think that Mr. Snyder could pay his rent for him. How bout each player pays one months rent, damn theres like 40 some odd guys on the team, that I think could cut a check for 800. If each player did that, he would have 4 years or rent taken care of. Just a wishful thought,

Get better Chief Zee, we need you at the games!!

My God, I had no idea about him being attacked by an Eagles fan (I guess since I had just been born a few years before it). That just makes my disdain for the trash, other wise known as Eagles fans, run that much deeper (sorry for the outburst, but reading that really pissed me off )

As I mentioned earlier I printed off the Chief Z thread all the way to Friday morning's post and sent it to Chief Z with a get well card, a few pictures etc. Well he received it today and after reading half of it he called me. He was so happy to be reading all of the get well messages. Simple things like pictures (that I had) of ES members and him, pictures of Gibbs the Dog, ES members words posted in that thread made his day. He told me to tell you all "Thank you very much. You do not know what this means to me". I told him that if he calls me or Gallntfox and tells either of us that he needs anyting we will be there to help him. I told him it could be something as simple as a car ride to the doctor or help around the stadium. I also told him that we were still collecting donations for him and we were going to help him as much as possible. He said that "we do not know how much this means to him".

As of right now we are at $1090.00

He not only needs help with bills but the cards and notes mean EVERYTHING to him. On Monday AM I will print and mail more of the thread below so post any message you want him to receive!

Just did my part. Didn't give much. But if EVERYONE chips in, we can make such a difference in an awesome guy's life.

God bless you Chief Zee! Get better soon!
