For someone who was raised a Redskins fan, and has supposedly loved them his entire life, he has lost touch with the fans. You would think that he would make FedEx field more accessible to the fans . . . but rather, he has made it more accessible to money. I have been fortunate enough to go to almost every home game for the last 4-5 years, and each one (regardless of the outcome of the game) gets harder and harder. The amount of opposing team fans is laughable . . . Does Snyder care? Absolutely not, because he is still getting money.
The cost of food is ridiculous. The parking costs are ridiculous. The fact that we have to pay 5 dollars a person just to ride a damn bus to the stadium is a joke. Snyder, you have bred corporate fans for "your" team. A large number of the people who show up at the game are not even fans . . . they just go there to act like them. How can you complain about people standing up? How can you not cheer your ass off for a team you supposedly love? You sold out bad . . . and somewhere, JKC must be pissed. The feel of this message board is that there a lot of people who have contemplated selling their tickets (if they haven't already). Well, it doesn't matter to Snyder . . . because again, he is getting his money. Snyder is testing the loyalty of Redskins fans . . . He is in a bet that he knows he can win, because people (regardless of what uniform they wear) will still show up to games. But sooner or later, this will catch up to him . . . And I would not be surprised to see many of our "fans" turn to Baltimore in a few years. The stadium is accessible . . . EVERYONE wears purple . . . and more importantly, the team is a contender virtually every year (except last). I for one will NEVER do such a thing . . . I bleed burgundy and gold, and will do so till the day I die . . . But I have realized that people like me and the loyal fans on this message board are of a dying breed . . . and watch out, because we will soon see Maryland, D.C., and Virginia turn to the Ravens. . . That is the nature of what Snyder has created - a joke of an organization, and the people are just fed up. |

I've been a season-ticket holder since the new stadium open. But, right now, given the mediocrity on the field, the below-average, game-day experience, the dysfunction of the organization and the ever-escalating ticket prices, I'm seriously considering not renewing my seats. I can't justify the cost any more.

Opposing fans come in large numbers whenever the home team is crap, that's just the way it is. People get angry that they paid so much money to watch the team lose all the time so they sell their tickets. Other times people simply can't make it and give the tickets away to friends and family who happen to like the wrong team, for example my traitor Cowboy fan sister who went to that game this year. We ballanced it out this year by getting my other sister and her fiance to at least pretend to be good Redskins fans. (she reportedly sang Hail to the Redskins every time, more than I can say for a lot of real fans)

YEAH!!! And paying 4 dollars for some hot water and chocolate syrup is horrible!!! I can't believe they even call that "Hot Chocolate". It had to be the worst tasting thing I've ever had.

Can someone seriously let me know if Synder is aware of any of this? Or if he ever hears how bad the fans think he is? Or if he ever comes around this board? Can any tell me something? P.S. to you Danny boy ![]() Last edited by TK; December-4th-2006 at 09:39 PM.. |

Yea, I noticed that when you cross into Maryland, everything is purple this year... a damn sickening shame.
Also, the reason all you see is green at the Linc is because they try to kill all opposing fans. Were I to ever dare go there, Id wear a green shirt with something Redskins underneath for my personal safety.

Come on you think fed ex field is bad. I am a huge redskins fan and go to fed ex field whenever I am able to. I am from Michigan, detroit area...
Coming from Ford field and going to Fed Ex Field is like going from Gary Indiana to Maui. I have lions season tickets and we pay 300.00 for each ticket in the club section. And all we get is a room with a $10.00 hot dog station. Thats for one hot dog. I can go on and on about Ford Field, the customer service sucks. We wont talk about how bad the team is. At least the redskins have a nice tailgate party, and cheerleaders.. We have a stupid lion and high school bands... And we have matt millen I mean come on, |

Fedex holds about 30,000 more seats than the average NFL stadium. That's alot of seats to be filled and more and more will be filled by opposing teams fans as we lose more and more. With a 90k capacity there will ALWAYS be seats available. Plus this is D.C where people come from around the country to work who still support the team they grew up with. But I agree, the majority of Snyders years here have been losing ones and the LEAST he could do is give the fans a good experience. I got a 70" HDTV and havent gone back to fedex since.

Wait till Sunday, when 20,000 Beagle fans show up for the slaughter. I stopped going after the Titans debacle, I let my sister buy the rest of my tics. I will root like hell for the B&G, but Dick Snyder gets no more of my money. I also will not buy anymore more memorobilia. I can't believe some of you are talking about buying $300.00 authentic jerseys. Crazy
