he only had one.....it was in overtime against tampa bay in OT. He returned a punt ( with the help of a no call hold ) 40ish yards into field goal range.....he also had 3 ints but with champ bailey and darrell green out there too they seems to stay away from dangerous throws.....

I think I recall a play where he got beat, but then had the awareness to notice that the receiver didn't have the ball secured very well, and then stripped him. But I could definitely be remembering that wrong -- it's been awhile.

Anyway, I don't understand why anybody would want to see Sanders in a 'Skins jersey again. The way I felt when we signed him is about the same as the way I'd feel if we traded for Roy Williams (the safety). Yuck.

Because he's one of the best CB's ever to lace em up. And in the little time he played here, he produced.

Be happy he wasn't a bum like Walt Harris or Kenny Wright.

Yep, against the Rams. Big play helped us win a tough one on the road in what would turn out to be a melt down of a season.

Don't get me wrong, I know he was a great player, and doing well for us would certainly be better than the alternative (though his season here was considered by many to be a disappointment). But considering how strongly I rooted against him for most of his career, it's hard for me to look back at his brief stint here fondly -- especially when his 7-year, $56M contract came at the expense of one of my all-time favorite (and long-tenured) Redskins, Brian Mitchell.

I didn't remember the opponent -- thanks! No video, but here's an account from the NY Times:

The Redskins then moved 47 yards in six plays for Murray's 47-yard field goal as time expired for a 13-13 tie at halftime.

Deion should consider himself lucky...to happen to have worn the same number as Sean.
