Default Poll: Dan Snyder Approval Rating, June, 2008

Do you generally approve or disapprove of Dan Snyder's handling of our football team in recent months?

Dave McKenna of the City Paper says:

In 2005, he acquired Extremeskins.com, at the time an independent fan message board, and made it a part of his team’s Web site. Snyder’s moderators protect him like a Jonas Brothers street team, but the fan base’s dislike for the owner is plain for all to read on the board.

Edit: Whoops! I wasn't taken to the poll feature on submission. How do I edit to add the poll?

I would have to say that I approve but where is the poll?

Perhaps a poll, monsieur?

"in recent months" ---> that's quite the loaded qualification. Hard to screw up a football team between March and June, no?

So, tentatively, approve.

are you going to calculate this yourself. As of 2006, I was kinda pissed, but since he's been improving. So right now I'd say I approve.

Won't happen, unfortunately. Todays journalism is more opinion based than fact based.

I think Snyder has finally figured things out.

We were one stubborn Bengals owner from selling the farm (2 first round picks, years of cap space) for 30-year-old Chad Johnson.

And Johnson wouldn't have made a HUGE impact? Are you kidding?

It appears that Snyder has settled down a bit, good.
Setting up Cerratto has the "head man" is also on my approval list because it eliminates the dissipation of responsibility for FO moves.

Too bad that polls can be tainted by "guest abuse"…… skewing the results.

So a live running count might actually reveal "what's real"

We all thought Bruce Smith would make a huge impact, Deion would make a huge impact, etc.

When you say Snyder is learning, it implies you mean he has changed his philosophy towards building a winner. The previous philosophy, which was poor, and which he is learning to avoid, was: a.) one star player does not win championships, b.) draft picks are valuable, and c.) don't overpay for players.

That Chad Johnson move falls right in line with the old philosophy, don't you think?
