I SENT HIM AN EMAIL AND THIS WAS HIS B.S. REPLY
Good luck with that. Sounds like a worthy life's calling I called the league for a request for a policy as is my job I alleged nothing ; I just wanted info Cerrato is lying and missrepresenting what was a sinple, weekly conversation between me and the league You can never lose a draft pick for this sort of statement Only a team can charge someone with tampering, not a media member He is a making a mockery of fact and reality and trying to play people for fools I request policies on rule changes, code of conduct, suspensions, statement about officials, etc. This was no different. Its pathetic attempt to slander me, but not surprising in the least given who it is coming from. Thanks for your time Cheers ----- Original Message ----- From: Sent: 09/22/2008 09:09 PM GMT To: Jason LaCanfora Subject: Message via washingtonpost.com: Tampering

I think it was sweet of JLC to look out for Cerrato and check up on him. Come on people, JLC is an angel

Looks like JLC forgot to have his editor look that over.

If this was a simple, routine conversation between JLC and the league, why would the league tell Cerrato about it?

HERE IS ALL OF IT.
Thanks for the email Godspeed ----- Original Message ----- From: "TopKats" [] Sent: 09/22/2008 06:01 PM AST To: Jason LaCanfora Subject: Re: Message via washingtonpost.com: Tampering My calling in life has nothing to do with you. I admit firing is a little harsh. Maybe you should cover the mystics or I don’t know something like ping pong. You know what would be funny if Snyder buys the post like he did WTEM… but that’s not going to happen he wants to make money and papers are slowly dyeing. Good luck to you and keep up the good work. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jason F LaCanfora" <lacanforaj@washpost.com> To: "kats" <@comcast.net> Sent: Monday, September 22, 2008 5:23 PM Subject: Re: Message via washingtonpost.com: Tampering Good luck with that. You are the redskins beat reporter for the post right? Maybe you should move on. I hope that the redskins will not allow you at Redskins Park or grant you any interviews. I will also complain to your editor and I plain to post every message board that I can for your firing.

He really sent this? You have got to be kidding me. He is clearly out of control and cannot be allowed to maintain his beat at the Post. How can the powers at the Post not come to the same conclusion? He simply cannot remain the Redskins beat writer with this kind of visceral bias combined with the restraint of a child.
