Redskins Save this date. Chief Zee fundraiser 10/1/09

Show your support and join us at Baileys Pub & Grille in Arlington on Thursday October 1,2009 from 7p till close, for a fun filled evening with the Guest of Honor 2000 HOF inductee Chief Zee. Some former and current players are also expected to attend. PM me for a PDF. There will be a live auction with Redskins memorabilia as well as drink specials. All proceeds will be presented to Chief Zee at the end of the evening. So here is a great opportunity to help out the Chief with his mounting medical bills. Now's your chance to give back to the man that has dedicated his life to our favorite team. Bailey's is located at 4238 Wilson Blvd. Arlington ,VA 703-465-1300

I work at a hospital with people who don't have insurance. My question is, how does Chief Zee have medical bills? My guess is that he is over 65 which would put him a Medicare eligible, meaning the only thing he'd have to pay for a hospitalization is $1068 Medicare deductible for every 60 day visit. And if he has Medicaid as a supplement, it picks up the deductible. I'm not bashing, just asking a question. And if he's disabled, he would have been eligible for Medicare after 2 years of being determined disabled if he is under 65.

He can afford season tickets, but not medical bills? Hey? Is this Sean Taylor's cousin again?

The rudeness of America continues.

If you don't have anything nice to say then don't say it at all.

I think pjfootballer had a legitimate question. I don't think it was being said to be rude or insensitive.

I think it's a legitimate question, and it's silly not to ask what you are donating money to.

I can assure each and every one of you that if you think you need to ask anything about Chief Zee then you have never sat and talked with him, you have never had him lead a round of "Happy Birthday" for your daughter, you have never seen him take picture after picture with fans no matter how hot, cold or wet, you have no idea how this man has given back to his community and to Redskins fans as a whole. Chief Zee is the most humble man I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He hears time and again from grown adults (like myself) that some of their first memories of Skins football has him emblazoned in them, and after all that he still insists that the only reason he does any of it is for us, the fans of the Washington Redskins.

The only question that you should be asking is.....

How much can I give and how do I get it to him?!?

my 2cents!

That's great. My grandma is a neat person too.

Why does he need money?
