2 attempts, 2 failures.
Simple poll, how long does it take for Albert to pass?

If he keeps working with Haslett? I'm thinking the fourth try.

Since the test is clearly not passable, the real question is how long before Shanahan is happy.
And to that I have no idea. I wouldn't be surprised if the answer is never, and whole idea is to run his ass out of town. |

2 more attempts, they are making an example out of Fat Albert. This is what happens when you miss the off season workouts.

right now the story is simply poking fun at Albert for all the **** he's put the team through
i trust shanahan will pass him before the story turns into a joke on the organization he fails two more times then shanahan will relegate him to the 3rd team ![]()

I think it is already pretty close to that now.

Shanny is just toying with him. Like a cat playing with his food. When Shanny wants to end it, he will.
My guess us he'll be practicing on Monday. Keep it a story for a couple days more, then declare success beginning of next week.

I mean it being on the verge of becoming a joke and possibly just making the organization look bad. I doubt this really has much to do with conditioning. Eventually, if it keeps up, and reports about him apparently looking to be in good shape but failing these tests based on relatively minor things keep coming out it will just become a joke around the media that Shanny is in a pissing contest and won't get over it.

I dont think he will pass it. I am convinced that Shanahan does not want him on this team.

I think 1. While Shanny wants to prove a point, I don't think he wants this to be a distraction. Which if he goes on with it too long, that's what he'll get, a distraction.
I'm not saying I am against making big Al sweat (literally) it out, but don't cut your nose off to spite your face either.

I disagree with you. I do not think Shanahan is toying with him. Think about it...last year when it was obvious that he was out of shape with all of his fake injuries....being carted off the field....etc...who does that reflect poorly on...THE COACH...you ask yourself...why is he on the field? And who makes those decisions...THE COACH....This coach has made up his mind that he will not be embarrassed by a fat, overpaid, lazy, disrespectful, player on the football field, and he is going to do something about it. Unlike Jim Zorn and Greg Blache last year...they will act on it, not just lip service.... |
